Book Two Now Published! Plus a little bonus!

Hello again. I've got some exciting news! Book Two in the Fire and Ice trilogy is now finished and published! It's just gone live in the Kindle store and is soon to appear everywhere else too.

I'm so excited and I hope you enjoy the new twists and turns as Cassie and Xander's story continues ... in Caleb's Web

Here's the official synopsis:

Things have become pretty serious between curvy everyday Cassie and her handsome billionaire lover, Xander Drake. They’re both getting ready to take their relationship to the next level, but at the back of Cassie’s mind is some unfinished business.

Will Cassie let her future happiness be threatened by Caleb, Xander’s icy half-brother and his evil wife, Kelly? Or will she find some way out from the tangled web of lies and intrigue that Caleb seems to be winding around everyone in his path?

And will Cassie and Xander – so different yet so alike - ever find true happiness together?

In the second part of Kari Wray’s smoking hot trilogy, girl-next-door Cassie Lawrence falls ever deeper into a murky world of explicit sex, greed, power and corruption … in The Drake Legacy

And as a bonus treat, I've also published a short story for $0.99 called Getting Even!

It's a pretty steamy tale about a scorned wife exacting her revenge - and having a little fun too ... You can pick it up in the kindle store now!

Thank You!

Hello again.

Well, Fire & Ice has been on sale for a few weeks now and the main surprise of all is that people are actually buying it! That may sound a little silly, or modest, but it's my first effort and it's really hard to know what's going to happen, the moment your first book is published.

I'm so proud of it - I know it may not be absolutely perfect, but I also know that I've put my all into it. This is the book I wanted to write and I'm so, so proud that it's out there in the world!

It's even had some reviews - both on Amazon and Goodreads. And like pretty much everything else that exists, some people liked it and some people hated it. It was hard reading that vicious one-star Goodreads review (ouch!) but it was still kind of thrilling and exciting that the reviewer had any thoughts or reactions to my writing whatsoever.

I know not everyone's gonna like what I've written - sure, it's rather over the top, it's silly, it's not particularly realistic - but I love writing more than anything. The ability to explore my turn-ons, my kinks, the naughty, secret little corners of my imagination. And then to share that with the world! It still kind of blows my mind ...

Anyway, if you've bought Fire & Ice, if you've read it, if you've reviewed it, if you've just added it to your Goodreads to-read shelf: THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Kari x

p.s. As a final exciting development, I just this moment received an email telling me that right now, Fire & Ice is an All Romance Bestseller! (It's currently sitting at Number 13 on the ARe charts!) I can't quite believe it!

My debut novella!

I'm so excited! This week I published my debut novella, Fire & Ice (The Drake Legacy: Book One). It's just over 32,000 words long, which works out at about half the length of a paperback novel. I'm really pleased with it and hope that you enjoy it too!

For more info, including links to places where you can purchase it, please visit the BOOKS page.

Fire & Ice is the first part in a trilogy, and I'm currently hard at work writing the second in the series, provisionally titled Caleb's Web. If all goes to plan, hope to have this second installment of The Drake Legacy written and published by the end of January, 2014.

Please check back for more news and updates in the coming weeks and months. I've also set up a Twitter and Goodreads account (links over there on the right!).

If you would like to request a review copy of my novella, please feel free to email me - I'd love to send you one! My email is kariwrayerotica@gmail.com.

And if you have read the book, I'd love you forever if you took the time to post a short review of it somewhere!

Until next time,

Kari x
